A wise man once said, “What you believe, you become.”

Knowing how to concentrate in today’s distraction-filled world is certainly a problem for a lot of people. So many have Negative Thinking days which they call ’bad days” for reasons like:

Emotional distractions, lack of training or practice in the workplace, a really negative ‘I can’t ‘ attitude, lack of motivation, stress, poor health, fatigue, a brain being overloaded with clutter and so on. With phone calls --- landline and cell --- e-mails and a whole lot of ‘stuf’ going on around, how is a person suppose to concentrate on the matter at hand, whatever it may be! After a while because the work isn’t getting done or ‘family time’ isn’t or personal relationships aren’t, the confidence level starts going downhill in a hurry and all of a sudden the Positive Thinking arena has gone in a burrow and occasional ‘bad days’ are every day!

A lot of this comes from people having self-defeating thoughts and excuses why things in their lives are Negative instead of Positive like:

I would rather be doing something Fun and ‘this’ isn’t!

I takes me forever to figure out how to solve problems.

I am scatterbrained and no matter how I try to ‘keep it together’ it doesn’t work.

I can’t ‘block out’ bothersome things going on in my personal life when I am at work and vice-versa. (This is a very important subject and seems to cause more trouble than any other!)

I try to be a multitasked and I am NOT!

I try to remember details, dates, names etc. with a brain that seems not to be able the last 5 minutes!

Running around in circles seems to be my destiny!

I am afraid that if I make a mistake it is the ‘End of the World!’

And hundreds more because with this kind of attitude it is hard to come up with some excuse ‘Why’! People are locked in to a prison of doubting themselves to the degree that the harm is in every level of their lives ---- professionally, physically, emotionally and intellectually. Now!

How can one erase all of this Negative and become a Positive Thinking, focused, Purpose-driven person? It takes a Believe that if a person wants something bad enough and they are willing to listen and try some things they truly believe Aren’t Going To Work ---- Sound familiar?!?---- then, maybe it Will!

Taking time everyday to find a quiet place where a person can go to ’unload’ all the Negative by talking to oneself and telling oneself to Release all the Negative, ’Bad’ stuf that is getting in the way of a calm, peaceful, happy existence is the FIRST step! This Positive Thinking Exercise is going to condition the mind to readjust the attitudes, actions, emotions and beliefs to a Positive Thinking Life! The ‘roadblocks’ that stand in the way to promote failure and ‘bad days’ slowly start diminishing and Positive things are happening like:

I can do this!

A good file system is working for me! Names, dates, times, etc. in One place.

With some planning I can do 3 things at a time and it works!

Scatterbrained?! Reread above statement!

All things can be “fixed” by just believing in oneself!

Start wanted to learn new and perhaps difficult things without being scared and thinking that ‘I can’t’ can be ‘I Can’.!

What is Past is Past! Get over the habit of dwelling on Past mistakes.(Another important subject and another the causes more problems!)

‘Now’ can be really Sweet! But, is it going to damage the future and the life that you want in the long run?!?

Learn to quiet the mental clatter around you and enter into a state of focused, calm concentration.

Keep interruptions brief ----- listen, take care of problem, return to task at hand ---- be nice!

Whatever to setback ---- take a few ---- then come back with a renewed commitment to success!

Instead of ‘I have to do this’ how about ‘I want to do this’ ---- surprising how One word can so make everything better!!

It all takes time and effort to have a Good Life! The more one keeps saying, writing down and then reading the Positive Thinking thoughts everyday it won’t take long for the Positive to start showing to the individual and all those around!
